Farm Details: Founded in 2003 with just 35 small farmers, this cooperative is situated in the Amazonian Andes of northern Peru. Known as the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto (JUMARP), or simply "El Palto," the coop now includes 189 members, 40 of whom are women. Together, they manage around 550 hectares of organic and Fair-Trade Certified coffee. Female members, like their male counterparts, have representation on the El Palto Coop Board of Directors. The board's mission is to boost production and profitability in specialty coffee, thereby enhancing the income of each member's family.
Shipping and Delivery: All our products are shipped in curbside recyclable mailers and boxes. We ship all retail orders via USPS. Orders ship the day roasted/packed and are generally delivered to customers in 4-5 business days.
